Julia Reid ARPS, your host at Stonecroft, is also a professional photographer who is passionate about photography and enjoys nothing more than passing on her knowledge and encouraging others to enjoy the beauty of the Peak District at the same time.
If you enjoy taking photographs of this beautiful part of Britain, yet feel you could do better, why not join us on one of our Landscape Photography courses, or Photo trails, run over either one or two days.
Based in the beautiful Edale valley, we occasionally venture further afield according to the subject, but you will not be short of subject matter wherever we go.
Our Landscape photography course includes a small amount of informal
in-house training before setting out to explore the surrounding country side to put your knowledge into practice.
Any level of training is based on passing on knowledge, but it doesn’t always need to be based on classroom theory, so our Photo Trails programme offers relaxing days out on location with a professional photographer.
If you fancy an enjoyable break with like minded people and the chance to improve your photographic techniques then a Photo trail day will suit you.
Groups are kept to a maximum of four students per tutor and the emphasis is on informality and tuition based around your requirements. These events are an excellent opportunity to learn more about your environment, your camera and taking better photographs.
